Steps to setup Delex MPS on Clickpost

1. Firstly, Complete the process of setting up a courier partner account by following the steps: https://docs.clickpost.ai/docs/create-an-courier-partner-account

2. This is the screen that you'll get :

Here, you can add the credentials as shared by the DP World/Delex team. To give you a brief:

• Username and Password are needed to generate the Tokens needed for Delex's Order Creation, Tracking, and Proof of Delivery APIs. You will get it from your DP World relationship manager.
• service_provider_company_code is the DP WORLD EXPRESS Customer code assigned for businesses or enterprises using its services. In this case, the DP World relationship manager will be able to provide it. [Usually its constant 'DELEX']
• Service_option is a Mandatory field and is used to determine the delivery service type used by the customer it takes values like Surface-Normal (Default), and AIR.
• is_draft field is a mandatory field in the order creation API. It can take one of two values: yes or no.(by Default it is "Yes")
  • If is_draft is set to yes, then the order is a "draft" order. The carrier must approve the order and provide an LR number or consignment number before the order can be shipped.
  • If is_draft is set to no, then the order is created immediately. The carrier system will allocate a consignment number for the order.
• consignor_company_code and consignor_facility_code both are optional fields if the is_draft value is no and by default, it's set to Empty. If the is_draft field is set to yes it needs to be configured.
  Your Delex MPS Relationship Manager will be providing it.
• unit dimension,unit weights and unit types are specific to each Enterprise. These field values are used in the shipping orders, they take the below-mentioned measurements
  • unit dimension takes measurements as cms, inches, meters, feet, mms, and dms. [Deafult value is 'inches']
  • unit weights takes measurements as Bags, Cartons, Pallets, Units, Wooden Box, and drums. [Deafult value is 'units']
  • unit dimension takes measurements as Tonnes, Kgs, and Lbs. [Deafult value is 'Kgs]

3. Once done, kindly press Submit and you have set up Delex MPS on Clickpost.

Note:

1. Pre-assigned AWBs: No need to configure pre-assigned AWBs, AWBs are generated by Delex in real-time during the order creation API call and returned back in response.
2. Labels: Clickpost does generate a label for Delex MPS orders. Labels are generated by Clickpost and returned in API response to the customer.
